TASTING NOTES
This wine demonstrates a vibrant nose of black cherries and strawberries. The palate is delicate and fine with an exotic array of red and black fruits intermixed. This Pinot Noir has elegance, power and finesse. The red fruit complexity from the Melba Block helps to balance out the earthiness from the Home Block fruit.

REVIEWS
90 Points Halliday Wine Companion
The Yarra Valley–based winery looked to fruit from Nagambie in 2019 and, in particular, this little-known grape more usually associated with Portuguese fortified wine production. Strikes a sinewy, medium-bodied and savoury pose which is immediately different from the usual red grape crowd. Briar, acacia, red cherry, earth, prune and wood smoke aromas. Despite some high-ish acidity, the wine is rich in ripe fruit and fills the mouth before finishing with a flourish of dry, savoury tannins. An interesting flavour sensation any way you look at it.
