TASTING NOTES
Lifted lemon rind, sugar snap peas, subtle passionfruit and poached pear aromatics combine with hints of coconut slice. Racy natural acidity provides focus on the palate however the wine provides textural interest and nutty, saline characters and very subtle oak nuance.

WINEMAKING NOTES
A Fumé Blanc refers to a dry Sauvignon Blanc with some French oak influence in the wine. Originating from the Bordeaux region of France, Sauvignon Blanc is a green-skinned grape, white wine variety which has gained a popular following here in Australia. Victoria's cool regions produce clean, vibrant Sauvignon Blancs, with those in the Yarra Valley region producing a fullness and tropical fruit centre. 12.6%. 8 months barrel maturation in old French Oak.

REVIEWS

95 Points Halliday Wine Companion

The inaugural release, made from hand-picked fruit, whole clusters pressed to old oak, wild fermented, and aged 9 months. It's a really good outcome. Crunchy citrusy flavours, passionfruit pith, pine needle, and basil coolness are matched to a more textural palate. Plenty of acidities ensures a delicious drink right now. Jane Faulkner
