Kellybrook Winery

Established in the 1960's by Darren and Farley Kelly, it was the first Yarra Valley winery to be granted a licence in the modern era. Today, the Kelly family continues to produce an extensive range of award winning wines, including sparkling Pinot Chardonnay. Kellybrook is renowned for its history in cider making and, more recently, added brewery to the operation. Ciders and beers are produced under the Kelly Brothers Cider and Riders Brew Co brands.
Gardens surround the heritage listed, 140 year old oak tree - the perfect setting for a picnic and a glass of wine. In winter, the open fire crackles in the cellar door.
The cellar door stocks local cheeses, charcuterie and preserves to create your own grazing plates. Seasonal products are available at the cellar door in addition to apple brandy.
Sunday Sessions are held on the last Sunday of each month with live music and hot food.
Kellybrook also hosts its annual Cider Festival on the first weekend in May.

Kellybrook Yarra Valley Rosé 2019 $24
The Kellybrook Rosé is made by carefully harvesting and whole bunch pressing Cabernet Sauvignon. It is cool fermented and prepared for bottle immediately to retain maximum freshness. The 2019 is a dry style exhibiting candied strawberries and cream aroma with a nice acid balance. Drink while fresh and young.

Kellybrook Yarra Valley Pinot Noir 2018 $30 bottle
The palate is soft and luscious. Strawberry and bramble fruits are evident, with notes of twiggy bark and caper berries in tow. Tannins are pillow-like and the finish is lingering with a cranberry crunch to add enjoyment.
